Hi, I’m Michelle, and growing flowers brings me so much joy. 🌸
In 2025, I decided to start a large cut flower garden. What began as a simple dream quickly became my first season of blooms—and the start of Prairie View Flower Farm. I had no idea how abundant the blooms would be or how blessed I would feel, watching beautiful flowers grow and seeing the smiles they brought to our family, friends, and community. It was pure joy.
I grew up on a farm and married a farmer, and today our son and son-in-law farm alongside us. My husband and I are both fourth-generation farmers, living and working on our century farm. Farming has grounded me in hard work, gratitude, and family. Prairie View Flower Farm is rooted in those same values. Flowers are my slice of farming—my creative outlet and my way of giving back to the community we love.
Prairie View Flower Farm is rooted in gratitude, family, and the simple belief that flowers make life brighter. With the constant support of my husband, Rodney, this little flower dream has grown into something truly special. I’m so grateful to share it with you.
Why Prairie View Flower Farm?
Because over 115 years ago, my husband Rodney’s great-grandpa settled here and named it Prairie View Stock Farm. Here’s a peek at our farm in the early 1900s!
Through the years, our farm has been home to dairy cows, beef cattle, hogs, goats, and now flowers. From livestock to flowers, this Century Farm just keeps growing new dreams. Welcome to Prairie View Flower Farm!

At Prairie View Flower Farm, our mission is simple: to spread joy, create connection, and give back to our community, one bouquet at a time.
We believe flowers have a quiet power to lift spirits, mark life’s moments, and bring people together. Through growing and sharing beautiful blooms, we hope to add happiness to everyday life, celebrate meaningful milestones, and brighten the days of those around us.
Rooted in gratitude and community, Prairie View Flower Farm exists to share kindness, beauty, and a little joy far beyond our fields.
What do we grow?
We grow all the favorites and then some. 🌸
From dahlias and zinnias to snapdragons, sunflowers, cosmos, larkspur, celosia, and gomphrena, our fields are full of color, texture, and seasonal surprises.
And honestly… that’s just the beginning. There’s always so much more growing on the prairie.
What do we do?
At Prairie View Flower Farm, we grow beautiful flowers and design pretty arrangements to share joy throughout the summer season.
We offer 4-week summer classic or premium bouquet subscriptions, along with wrapped and vase bouquets available at our on-farm flower stand, Blossom. You can also visit us for a U-Pick experience or join one of our flower workshops.
Everything we grow is fresh, Minnesota-grown, thoughtfully arranged, and offered at an affordable price, bringing a little beauty from our farm to your home
